Windows 11 Source Media Issues

Im trying to upload the Windows 11 x64 ISO using the SDA Media Manager version 8.2.38.9. Once its competed I'm getting an "Unable to Fingerprint" Issue and I cant move forward with a scripted install because of this. Has anyone else ran into this issue before? Im not on the latest version of the Deployment appliance just yet. Im running 8.2.158.

Update to 9.0 (current as of today)
W11 is not supported in 8.2, therefore this error message is expected.
With 9.0 W11 is supported and with the new media manager this works well.
(if you just update to 9.0 during the update the fingerprint should be updated else you just can update it in the GUI after update)
You also need to be on 9.0 for Secure Boot, which is mandatory for deploying W11 (except you use the well known registry hacks)

  • Looks like Server 2022 has the same issue even in 9.0.144. - JordanNolan 1 year ago
    • this is correct. Also some latest Linux versions (Ubuntu 2204 LTS) but should be in 9.1 - Nico_K 1 year ago
