Quickbooks Prem 2010 uses what seems to be a non-variable-friendly Setup.exe so I had some issues passing my Product and License number directly to the MSI through scripts... here's my working transform solution.
Open up the Quickbooks.MSI or create a transform file, then look under the property table, add then ADD the following rows:
QB_PRODUCTNUM
QB_LICENSENUM
Then set the values for these rows as your vendor provided key.
Here's a couple other values you may want to have in your transform in the property table.
Disable the Support Shortcuts:
INSTALLDESKTOPICONS 1
Disable Google Desktop Search:
CKBOX_GDS 2
Misc:
AgreeToLicense Yes
ALLUSERS 1
After you've done all this you can hit the MSI with a /QN
