Agent Tray Icon Missing


I have some machines in my K1000 that the green agent tray icon is missing even though I know KACE is installed. I spoke to support and they mentioned it was because my agent was out of date. We have a mix of agent versions right now and trying to get everyone on the same page some 9.0.181, 9.1.204, 10.0.113. Two machines one with version 9.0.181 and one with version 9.1.204 do not show the tray icon. However my machine with version 9.1.204 does show the icon. Has anyone else see this happen? Is it because my machines are not all on the most recent version.

  • It may depend on how the setting of the "Agent Settings Icon on Device" in General Settings was, when the agent was deployed to the device?? - Hobbsy 11 months ago
  • The agent settings Icon on device was enabled long before we pushed out the agent 9.0.181 and above. So I am not sure that could be it. - jrbartes 11 months ago
