“AMPAgent.pkg†cant be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. I have got MacOS X 10.8
I am trying to install Dell Kace Agent for Mac and having issue for version 5.3.47657-all-dmg which I have downloaded from Dell Kace website.
Error message we get when we execute is “AMPAgent.pkg” cant be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.
I have got MacOS X 10.8

OS 10.8 also includes Gatekeeper which blocks installs that don't come from the AppStore or have signed publishers. You can try turning off Gatekeeper in the Security & Privacy system preferences pane and then installing the AMPAgent. Like dugullett says, however, 10.8 isn't officially supported with the current version so your results may or may not be good.

10.8 will run with 5.3. It won't identify the OS and patching doesn't work. MI/scripting does. - jknox 11 years ago

To disable GateKeeper from the CLI, enter this command
spctl --master-disable
To enable via CLI
spctl --master-enable
To check status via CLI
spctl --status
