Thanks for the rule. I am in the precess of updating my Test KBox right now but will try this rule out as soon as I am able to get back in it. It looks to be exactly what I needed!!

Just a word of warning: the rules are setup to consider a blank value as "invalid". My boss was assigning tickets this morning and clearing out the default value in the field. I had to explain that I consider a blank value invalid because I don't want people asking me how to format the date - this is why the default is YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS.

You can change the rules to allow a blank value in the field, but I'd rather not have 30 people asking me how to format the date - so I let the rule slap them on the wrist for me and reset the default value if the field is blank.

I agree. You would never be able to get the end user to use that value without actually seeing how it is supposed to be imputed. Leaving it blank would be asking for phone calls and tickets!
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
