DemoShield
DemoShield is a utility from InstallShield to create simple auto run CD's. For Desktop Engineers like me it's just another .exe to go through to build a silent installation from their .exe masking an .msi.
Don't try to run a /R switch from the setup.exe on the root of the CD. This setup.exe only kicks of a demo32.exe, which eventually calls the setup.exe in the application directory. Run a /r (Record Mode) and you get a setup.iss in the windows directory.
Add the Setup.iss to the directory with the Setup.exe and the .MSI then run the Setup.exe /s (Silent Mode) and you get InstallShield’s version of a unattended install.
Use Microsoft's Autorun.exe!

I'm fine with DemoShield as long as there's an administrative install MSI version of the package on the CD too.
DS has its uses... it's a dummy interface for people that don't know what the "next" button is for in an MSI install. But the developer should include something useful to admins as well.
