Deploy Lenovo Driver via SCCM - Installshield ISS is my nemesis

Howdy all,

I've been asked to package and deploy the new Lenovo USB 2.0 Port Replicator Driver to all our relevant lappys via SCCM.

I'm trying to do this completely silent as it will be rolled out to users during office hours.

The initial download and the file on the CD is a 52Mb Setup.exe. Using /extract_all I can extract the contents which give me several files including another setup.exe. I've created the setup.iss by doing a setup.exe /r and this is now in the package that gets deployed across.

I've tried all variations of the command line arguements such as:

setup.exe /s
setup.exe /s /v/qb
setup.exe /s /v/qn
setup.exe /s /a /s /v/qb
setup.exe /s /a /s /v"/qb"
setup.exe /s /a /s /v"/qn"
setup.exe /s /a /s /SMS

and basically each one of these will not envoke a silent install. I was using the /v as I beleive the setup.exe will have a .msi inside.

The other anomaly I experience here is that any of these will create a program menu entry with an uninstall option inside but it's as if it doesn't finish the install.

Any ideas?

Is there anything obvious I'm doing wrong here?

Thx in advance...

Incidentally a setup.exe /s /a /s /SMS /v"/qn" returns an exit code of "0" but doesn't actually work.

All other variations time out with exit 259
