Detect and Deploy not patching
I have a Kbox1000, and have created a label for critical OS updates for Windows 7 and Server 2008. I run a Detect and Deploy using this label, and the detection will show patches that are already installed, but the ones that need to be installed come back as notpatched. I can't get a clear answer from KACE support, so I'm asking all you Ninjas...What's up with this? To my understanding, the Detection should scan the machine to see if it has, or does not have, the patches listed in the label. If it does not have the patches, then KACE should Deploy those patches to the machine. I even ran this on a fresh install of Server 2008, and the result was notpatched on every patch. Anyway, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

From the Tech: Remember, the next time you run your patching schedule and it shows that it did not deploy, search the debug log "kpatch.log" or kpatch1.log, and look for "Failed for Signature File". If you see that, then just run another manual patch update to ensure that all "Patch Signature Files" has downloaded.
I got a Tier 2 tech support technician to cal me back. He ran a debug on the target PC and found that the signatures were failing. He ran a manual download of the patches a couple of times to make sure the signatures downloaded, and then we were able to deploy patches.
