Yeah i agree, your post doesnt make sense.
I can make out the following:
Vendor: Computer Associates
Product: eTrust Vulnerability Manager
Type: Service Install ?
What did you want to happen?
Is there an error?
Did you want to un install this service?
When you click msi's they usually install things...

oh sorry for the complete goof up (i think it occured due to high work pressure)
I am restating the issue I face:
The application name is CA eTrust Vulnerability Manager Service. The MSI for this is working perfectly. The problem is once it is installed and the computer is restarted after installation, the following folder opens up by itself .
C:\Program Files\CA\eTrust
INSTALLDIR for this MSI is C:\Program Files\CA\eTrust\vmservice
Hope this makes sense[8|]

Lol beat me to it... I was typing my reponse... then bam misk strikes
:-)
I agree chk reg keys and startup folder.
Key pathing can be found here if ur unfamiliar:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/setupapi/setup/run_and_runonce_registry_keys.asp
Does this happen every time the machine is restarted?
