Event Viewer : 1: 2: ProductView Document Viewing Option 3: 1: 1707

When I install applicaiton via Vendor .exe provided..I get Applicaiton installed Sucessfully at Event Viewer, however when Extracted MSI is installed ..I get following discription
Event ID 11707
Description : 1: 2: ProductView Document Viewing Option 3: 1: 1707
Do any body have a clue what this means..

I have also checked the Msi Logs..but the same Description is found..

Why not go completely mad and use AppDeploy to find out? :)

Well...I would if it was an error code...

but is'nt an error but info ( 11707)...which normally says " Installation is Successful"

11707 event ID always indicate that Installation operation was completed successfully. So, definitely its not an installation error.

Do you have a ProductView document , URL or something related to it in your application? Also, if you are installing the application in UI mode, then check the description you get during silent installation or viceversa.

My fault, obviously, for choosing to call the page 'MSI Errors'. Oh wait! I forgot! It's not my forum! Oh well...

I get the same description in both the modes ( silent or UI)

So, does it install successfully or not?
If not; then check the verbose log for any clue.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
