KACE 1000 and BMC Remedy CMDB Integration

Hello itNinja,

In our company we are currently running a project to deploy KACE 1000 to one of our customers. We need the inventory of KACE to be available in BMC Remedy in the CMDB. Has any of you done that in the past, or at least seen any guidance?

I would be grateful for any direction.

  • We could probably help you out here, the challenge that you face is that KACE is not configured to push data into another toolset. So the question is, does BMC have the capability to go get the data from an ODBC link?

    If the answer to that is no, then you will need to build a custom integration to port the data across, which is something that we may be able to help with. - Hobbsy 8 years ago

There are some options.  Third party tools can be made to access the K1000's database:
