KACE 6.0 System Deployment Appliance : Error Unable to determine server IP Address, Check DHCP and Network vers.

Hi All,

I am trying to resolve the issue above and get into the KBE Boot Menu

The KACE SDA should be set correctly but I am unable to confirm if i did it right. The  client unit when ping to the KACE SDA is providing an error of Ping: Transmit Failed. General Failure .

I have tried removing and readding the boot environment using the SDA Media Manager but to no avail

Do the following:
run "ipconfig" in this screen.
99.99% the client get no IP address.

If this is real, you need to add the network driver to the KBE.

  • Many thanks. However I am stuck at the part of accessing \\ipadd\drivers to update the winpe driver as per article - https://support.quest.com/kb/111719/how-to-add-the-driver-pack-to-kbe .

When using the ip address to access the driver share of the K2000 , error received was Windows can't find '\\ipadd\drivers. ' Check the spelling and try again

and when using the DNS name, i get the error code of 0x80070035, The network path is not found.

I can ping the ip add. so connection does exist. - lgoh 5 years ago
