KACE Agent Update on All Devices


I am trying to update all the devices agents' and most got updated except about 20 devices. How can I force update on those devices? 

Some of them still have version 10.2.108 and I want them to be version 11.0.119.

I tried the provisioning -> update agents -> and manually chose them however after clicking save nothing happened. 

I also did provisioning -> update agents -> all devices and still it just changed the time stamp and nothing happened.

Help appreciated!

  • Really stupid question as it's caught me out on more than one occasion - is your provisioning schedule 'Enabled'?

    I kept missing the dang tickbox to do this right at the top of the page, then got confused why my agents weren't updating, and was all set to raise a keyboard-shattering support ticket until a colleague gleefully pointed out I'd been a moron.

Your Agent Update Screen should be set like this


And you need to make sure the latest agent is loaded, the agents should update as and when they check in, they should start to update.

If you are using version 11, check you quarantine section, just in case any agents drop into there
