Kace SMA Windows 11 Feature Update

Hi,

We are trying to upgrade our windows 10 22H2 to windows 11 22H2 via Kace.

Windows Feature Update Schedules has been setup and configured (Detect and Deploy). So far everything has worked. job is started and we see that the patch is downloaded and executed.

The folder $WINDOWS.~BT is created and we see unter the Panther folder the logs.

but after some time the installation stops with the message:

  • What ended up happening with this issue?
We are just starting to detect for Win11 22h2 here in anticipation of deployment. - JS_DC 6 months ago
  • The problem still exist if we try to update via Windows Feature Updates. But now ist works via Managed Installations.
in our case it works with these parameters setup.exe /auto upgrade /eula accept /dynamicupdate disable /quiet /showoobe none
important is the parameter /dynamicupdate disable. - DeepM 6 months ago

Hi, did you look into this KB Article

I'd suggest to open a ticket with Support if unable to obtain details from the panther logs. In most cases it's Windows being difficult with the compatibility.

Hi,

Thank you for your answer and link.

We can not start the update on any laptop now. The message always appears: KacePatch:KacePatchModule::Detec] KacePatchModule::Detect: Patch PTCH325159 Name Windows 11 (consumer editions), version 22H2 de-de x64 Applicable No

According to CompatData*.xml nothing is blocked either. We will open a ticket with support.
