Query question
i am tring to write a query to find all the clients with the explorer.exe with a file modified date later the <date>. I can't seem to make this work. I can give the file name, or the modified dat, but not both. any insite? documentation i can read up on? any help would be nice

This is in SMS 2003, but i believe it will work in 2.0 as well:
select distinct SMS_R_System.NetbiosName, SMS_G_System_SoftwareFile.FileName, SMS_G_System_SoftwareFile.ModifiedDate from SMS_R_System inner join SMS_G_System_SoftwareFile on SMS_G_System_SoftwareFile.ResourceID = SMS_R_System.ResourceId where SMS_G_System_SoftwareFile.FileName = "Explorer.exe" and DATEPART(YY, SMS_G_System_SoftwareFile.ModifiedDate) >= 2005
This looks for all explorer.exe instances that were modified in 2005. You can change it to to look for modified dates before or after times, dates, months, years, quarters.
