"registry editing has been disabled by your administrator"
Hey,
I was just wondering whether anyone knew what to do with this message
"registry editing has been disabled by your administrator"
it was encountered packaging Adobe Photoshop Elements on a locked down XP build. The message comes up after self-repair for the user, and on each subsequent launch of the app. I have given full permissions to the registry AND the regedit.exe, but to no avail.
Thanks in advance,
Alex

So you got that message too?? =)
It´s the crappy programmers on Adobe thats using the ABC80-technology (*ironic*) to import registry information using regedit.exe /s regfile.reg, instead of writing it directly to the registry...
I have opened the reg-file it's trying to import, but the information is already in my package, but it want to add it anyway...
Maybe you can find a solution for it???
