Reports for various software

Hello, is there an easy step by step guide for "How to setup a new Report" please? I seem to be having a ton of trouble setting up a report that will tell me how many office installs I have thank you for the help that anyone can provide me

Thank you so much, we just purchased K1000 and I'm not quite sure about it, so far I'm not liking it as much as PDQ Inventory and Deploy, they have premade packages that are excellent, does K1000 have any pre made/custom packages for us to download?

  • There are some full installers available through the patching interface but in general they do not supply packages. If you are a new customer then I highly recommend using the training options available. - chucksteel 6 years ago

The administration guide available through the admin interface is very helpful, I recommend clicking the question mark in the upper left corner and starting there. Also, the reporting wizard can be used for a lot of basic reports. If you have experience with MySQL you can get a lot more out of the K1000. I recommend enabling the external database option and using a tool like MySQL Workbench to look at the tables directly for more advanced reporting needs.
