Set computername doesn't work

Does anyone know whether there is a version problem using SetComputerName_X64.exe and Windows 10 1809 LTSC? I try to work with version 3.3.14.1 and I don't get the computername, but also no error message.

  • They should work... Now there is a Get\Set version 2.0, hopefully you are using that one.

    And 3.3.14.1... if that is a KACE SDA version, I didn't even know about it....

  • It looks like that only the syspreped machine doesn't get's it's computername. I took another machine and it worked. But what should I do with the syspreped machine? - tbrueck 4 years ago

we are 100% LTSC for deployments at college and have no problems here with either method (enter or keep name) of using it.  Check petemp on your SDA to see if it writes the info.
