Hi all,
Is there a way to add new category in the software inventory. We need to categories all the software with our own categories. Or how you handle that?

At this time, I don't know of any way to modify or add to the list of software categories. I'd suggest submitting an enhancement request to Dell KACE support.

We use labels under INVENTORY | SOFTWARE and create the categories we need for sorting and reporting. I am sure KACE will still take your enhancement request but will indicate you may want to try labels.
