System Center 2012 Configuration Manager - Client Software Query displays software that has been uninstalled

When Querying Software(s) installed on a client, the results display software that was uninstalled from the client.

This can happen if you Uninstall software but the SCCM agent hasnt updated the SCCm server, I think it calls home with an inventory every x hours. So it might take a day to update the data.

  • If the data is taken from ARP, that's updated as part of the Hardware Inventory Cycle - so like rileyz says, depends when the inventory was last run. - dunnpy 10 years ago
  • Correct information above check you client settings from the console if you’re not sure how often it updates - accesser 10 years ago
  • Thanks for your replies. It appears that it may have been a timing issue? I had originally worked on this for more than 3 days, and our refresh cycle is set to 3-days. I also tried forcing the updates through Configuration Manager | Actions (tried all of them) and did not see any results after approx. 5 days - and then today (day 6) I ran a new query and there they were? - 99scooter 10 years ago
