Uninstall Error When Using Secedit In Package

I'm using Wise Package Studio and was having trouble setting permissions on some registry keys, so I used secedit (per suggestions here). It works great, but I seem to be unable to uninstall the app. It gets all the way to the end where it would normally run secedit and fails:

Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected...etc

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with secedit because if I remove the line from the install script (and thus don't run secedit), I don't have problems uninstalling. But of course then the program doesn't work properly...

Does anyone have an idea as to what might be wrong? Thanks a lot.

PS: If it helps, the problem I was having with registry permissions had something to do with not propogating the permissions correctly when the user account didn't have administrative rights to the machine. (That's a mouthful)

Thanks!

I know the problem
resolve this like this
use a if statement

" if NOT Installed then"
call vbSc.... blahblah
END

this should solve it
