First build a search to locate the WINZIP32.exe file and store that to a property
such as OLDWINZIP.
Create a custom action to launch an exe stored in a property
Use the OLDWINZIP Property as a condition on the custom action
exe- [OLDWINZIP]
arguments - /uninstallx
Have it run after the "Remove Existing Products" Action in the Install Execute sequence
That is how you would update the MSI...
the simple answer is add a custom action to call -- %Path To Winzip Directory%\Winzip32.exe /uninstallx
Or find another way to call it prior to running the installation of 10
the /uninstallx - is a silent uninstall
It's early in the morning for me... but i hope this makes some sense
