Virtualization of K1000 & K2000 Appliance.
Hi All,
Has anyone tired to P2V their K1 or K2 appliance? We are getting attempting to do so, but get stuck when asked selecting the source account. none of the account we have setup seem to work.

P2V of a Physical to VM is not supported. The good news is you can download the VM from Quest and restore your backup from the Physical.
The backup will contain your settings and other data.

Be aware if you are restoring an SMA 13.1 you will need the serial number of your original appliance before you can restore to your new vm, this is a new requirement added to the 13.1 SMA appliance. - Hobbsy 8 months ago
