Which Scripting language should be used?

Hi,
For Installation of the packages through sms\sccm which scripting language should be used? or anything will work, if written properly?

I'd start with SMS Installer or Wise InstallMaster for ease and expandability.

I write custom installers in AutoIT - it's a very robust and simple language, and the programs can be compiled into executables (something you can't do with VBS).

something you can't do with VBSNot natively, that's true, but there are several very good VBS-to-EXE utilities around.

I have used NSIS for a while.. its useful in making custom installers, but also compiled into exe's.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
