Why in lock down XP environment regular user can install Google Earth ?
We have lock down XP environment regular user are not allowed to install any software but software such as Google Earth are installing because they install in the user profile and not writing any thing in the Reg, Program Files or any other windows folder.
How to stop that.
Thanks.

Yup ....seen this also bit unfortunate , the install uses the isscript engine which I guess under normal circumstances could have an issue installing as a locked down user but as so many apps use various isscript engines it's nearly alway's the case that this will install.
Depending on the way you look at it a great move by google !
