Lenovo M700 winpe10 driver missing

We are transiting to Kace as such I am extremely new with it. I have had little issues with most of the models we use but a few of our newest models are causing me some issues. I believe it to be simply the winpe is missing the network drivers. Downloaded the newest dell kb drivers for winpe10  (https://support.software.dell.com/download-install-detail/6063300) and I got the Lenovo winpe bundle (https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/olddownloads/ds105977). I added all those drivers to the server on the kbe_windows_x64 folder. I rechaced all drivers (( and even tried recacheing just the boot environment windows x64 drivers)) and recreated the kbe again.

I made a new flash drive and it is still not connecting to the box. No ip address.

any ideas on what else to try?

you are using the wrong driver.  the package you mentioned in the link contains a driver for Intel PRO/1000 LAN Adapter Software.  the M700 has a realtek nic

if you look under the supported systems the m700 is not listed.  you need to use this driver.

  • my apologies. I am also working on the t460s and grabbed the wrong link. I have added the drivers from there as well as the one's for the m700 (http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds105415)
I was not thinking of the individual device drivers and just focusing on the winpe drivers, I got the ones from your link. Did not work for me. - cscarborough 7 years ago
    • try removing everything from the kbe_windows_x64 folder and just put the drivers for these models in there and build a new kbe - SMal.tmcc 7 years ago
      • I currently only have four folders within the kbe_windows_x64 folder. The dell winpe updated drivers, the two lenvo winpe folders, and the m700 realtek driver. I am removing all but the m700 realtek driver and going back through he process. Will let you know. - cscarborough 7 years ago
