SCCM 2007, not able to boot via a USB stick Kingston 8GB

SCCM 2007, not able to boot via a USB stick Kingston 8GB.  \\when booting via USB get message saying Initialising Hardware, then get message pop up saying
Unable to read task sequence configuration disk.

I can confirm the boot image does include the NIC driver, and when using another USB stick with same image on the same PC it boots fine and no issues in Windows PE.

I think its an issue with the USB stick because its a USB3 stick.  Is there anyway around this?

I have created th ebootable stick via task sequence media and via diskpart.

A USB 3 stick should work in a USB-2 port. If you are using it in a USB-3 port then you will also need to add the drivers for your USB-3 chipset to WinPE.
It is also well known that some USB sticks do not boot reliably on some hardware. Cheap sticks tend to have a mixture of slow and fast flash memory and are consequently unreliable. Find a make that works with your hardware and stick to it.
